Sitting in Berlin on the edge of the water canal, Sivan and a few friends were talking about some of their favorite songs and sharing childhood stories, when one of the friends mentioned the song “Summer Son” and the sentence in it: “Before you take my heart, reconsider”. Sivan thought to herself: “these lyrics are most beautiful & so precise“ and after going over the lyrics a few times Sivan fell for the simplicity and beauty of the song. It is perhaps hard to notice the fragility of the simple truth in the song. At that moment Sivan picked up a nearby guitar and played a version of the song to her friends, and thus, this cover was born with the goal to pass on this simple beauty and small piece of truth to more and more people with her voice.

Sivan Talmor ist eine der herausragendsten weiblichen Stimmen Israels der letzten Jahre. Sivans Talent wurde in einem frühen Stadium ihres Lebens entdeckt. Sie singt praktisch seit ihrer Kindheit und im Alter von Zehn Jahren begann sie in großen Musicals mitzuwirken, die sie durch ganz Israel führten.
Ihr zweites Album Fire wurde von Ori Winokour (Asaf Avidan & The Mojos) produziert und im September 2016 veröffentlicht. Im Gegensatz zu ihrem Debüt-Album Luna Park, welches in Hebräisch geschrieben wurde, sang sie auf dem darauffolgenden auf Englisch. Eine Europa Tour folgte, bei der sie von dem Duo ‘Shelly and Rotem’ begleitet wurde. Die erste Single mit dem Titel I’ll Be hatte für Aufruhr gesorgt und wurde sogar in eine wichtige Umweltsdiskussion verwickelt. Dies war u.a. bedingt durch die Tatsache, dass das unkonventionelle Musikvideo diesem Song, nebst dem Thema der Liebe, auch eine prophetische Aussage über die Beziehung des Menschen zur Natur auszusagen schien.
