Coach Party aus der Isle of Wight haben sich eben mit der neuen explosiven Alt-Rock Single „Girls!“ inkl. Video zurückgemeldet. Gleichzeitig kündigen sie ihr neues Album „Caramel“ für den 26. September an.
Das Video zu “Girls!” stellt ein Coach Party Konzert als surrealen Rückzugsort dar – Club Caramel – ein Ort, an dem die Menschen loslassen, neue Seiten an sich entdecken und sich völlig frei fühlen können. Es gibt einen faszinierenden Einblick in ihre Welt. Coach Party sagen dazu: „We wrote a song to try and encapsulate the escapism and togetherness you’d feel at your favourite band’s show, and then we were taken on a visual masterclass as our friends Dan Broadley & Josh Halling fleshed out their interpretation of that song in film. The concept of swapping out a Coach Party show for a (Club Caramel) retreat, where people can go to discover the parts of their personality they didn’t even realise existed and coax them to flourish, is an interesting and beautiful way to interpret the song which we never would have thought of. But, at the same time, it totally aligns with our original meaning and intention for ‚Girls!‘; we’ve learnt a lot about ourselves at gigs over the years, and we’re sure the same is true for anyone who’s been to see their favourite band live.“
Mit ihrem neuen Album „Caramel“ sind Coach Party bereit, 2025 und darüber hinaus zu erobern. Es ist ein melodienreiches, mitreißendes Album, das aus den gemeinsamen Erfahrungen und der Einheit der vier Bandmitglieder Jess Eastwood, Steph Norris, Guy Page und Joe Perry hervorgeht. Produziert von Guy Page, kanalisiert es die Introspektion und den Biss von Bands wie Hole, Sprints, Turnstile und Amyl and the Sniffers. Mit einer Laufzeit von 33 Minuten ist es ein scharfes, melodiegetriebenes Album, das die Themen ihrer Debütplatte „KILLJOY“ (2023) weiterführt: Herzschmerz, Identität und die Suche nach der eigenen Stimme.
