Die fulminante Rückkehr von Paramore geht heute mit der Veröffentlichung des neuen Songs „C’est Comme Ça“ in die nächste Runde. Es ist der mittlerweile dritte Track aus ihrem mit Spannung erwarteten neuen Album „This is Why“, das am 10. Februar 2023 über Atlantic Records erscheint.
Über den Song – dessen Titel wörtlich aus dem Französischen mit „es ist so“ übersetzt wird, aber eher dem englischen Ausdruck „that’s just how it is“ entspricht – sagt Sängerin Hayley Williams:
„I’m trying to get un-addicted to a survival narrative. The idea of imminent doom is less catastrophic to me than not knowing anything about the future or my part in it. The guys and I are all in much more stable places in our lives than ever before. And somehow that is harder for me to adjust to.“
