Darius Keeler:

„Sometimes a song comes along that is so of the moment, so connected to what’s going on in the world, that you just have to put it out as soon as it exists – ‘Yahoo’ is definitely one of those songs.“

“It’s probably the most brutally honest song we’ve ever written, but it has a message that I think needs to be heard. I know some people might flinch at the direct nature of the lyrics, but there is a long and proud tradition of musical artists using their platforms to speak out on issues and challenge systemic inequality, war, and political oppression. At the end of the day though ‘Yahoo‘ isn’t about politics, it’s about humanity, and about the inhumane actions of tyrants and some world leaders.”

„In recent times I feel like a lot of pressure has been brought to bear on artists not to speak out; be that commercial pressure from sponsors, promoters, the algorithm, or even intimidation from their own governments in some cases. But I think it’s really important that the artistic community doesn’t become cowed.“
